Diary (May 2011)

Horses

Our numbers are increasing!

Timber has very generously been gifted to Gilfach by his owner, who is so pleased to see him happy, healthy and enjoying his lot!

Firefly, who has been keeping us all in suspense (and glued to the webcam when we weren't on the yard!) produced a beautiful healthy filly foal last night. Her name remains undecided, but the adorable generously proportioned ears - one of which is a little floppy, is steering me towards "Bunny"! She will of course have to have a long and very posh registered name too! Limonero enjoyed a cigar.

Our numbers are also decreasing - but in a good way!

The lovely Zela has found a soul-mate. Sophie, who has spent a few patient months bringing Zela back into proper work, has been gifted by her owner (us!). We are equally pleased to see Zela happy, healthy and enjoying her lot with Sophie!

We look forward to welcoming you to Gilfach soon!
