Diary - End of August 2012

Reasons to be Cheerful...

It seems that the regime of therapy I have undergone over the past six months has worked! The prognosis is bright for now. We are obviously over the moon, and eternally grateful to all those who have played a role in helping this happen.

So, to be recommended, are lots of incredibly kind and generous thoughts, prayers, vibes, actions and wishes from friends, family and even folk you don't know; plenty of pampering (spa treatments, reflexology, Reiki, massages); sunshine; good food; generous helpings of fun times out with friends and family; breaks away; and of course horse-therapy! (Perhaps being pumped full of toxic chemicals then blasted with radiation had small a role to play?).

Thank you all - you know who you are... I am famous for not expressing my appreciation - so I hope this does the trick!

Horses and Dogs

Oscar approves of his new buddy, and is rapidly becoming more sheepdog like every day.

Tez, Alfie, Jewel, Limonero, Borba, Serenity and McGee have all breathed a collective sigh of relief, that their futures here at Gilfach are secure for now.

Gallivanting

The above regime of therapy is to continue. Next stop? Off to Sussex to visit Molly, who now resides with former Gilfach groom, Stacey.

The Farm

Improvements to our lovely home will continue, perhaps with renewed vigour.

We hope to welcome you to Gilfach soon.
